Uniphos has successful exhibit at ADIPEC

Attending the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) for the first time turned out to be a successful showing for the Uniphos Envirotronic Pvt Ltd. (UEPL) team in attendance.

Rahul Singh and Mukulraj Agrawal were busy at the exhibit from November 13-16, when they had the opportunity to meet with customers from around the world to discuss their unique gas detection needs.

“The response we received was excellent,” said Singh. “By the end of the show, we had received numerous inquiries for representation in Gulf countries and quite a few from Northern Africa and Eastern Europe.”

According to Singh, the visitors were pleasantly surprised to see an Indian company displaying such a wide range of gas detection tubes and fully certified (SIL2, ATEX and IECex) fixed smart gas transmitters.

Among the products the UEPL team was showcasing was the KwikSense Digital Smart Gas Transmitter, which is a universal transmitter with plug & play sensor technology.

Visitors were also interested in learning about the two types of gas detection tubes that Uniphos offers: the 5 mm Uniphos tubes and the 7 mm KwikDraw tubes. “We are the only manufacturer that offers two distinct sizes of tubes, which resulted in some engaging conversations at our exhibit as we hoped to educate potential customers about the advantages we offer.”

ADIPEC’s 2017 theme was ‘Forging Ties, Driving Growth’ and attracted 2,200 exhibiting companies, 27 country pavilions and over 100,000 trade professionals from about 125 countries. An estimated 900 speakers took part in 185 conference sessions.

“All in all, the show was satisfying and a good use of our time,” concluded Singh, who is looking forward to next year’s show.
