Uniphos goes south

April 25, 2016 – The U.S. Uniphos Envirotronic Inc. team has taken on an expanded market, moving into Mexico where they intend on providing the same quality products and exceptional customer service south of the border.

CEO Brent Yaschuk explained that Uniphos has partnered with a company called SCR (Soluciones para el Control de Recursos), based in Monterrey, which has a strong presence throughout Mexico.

“SCR is a company that focuses on the recovery of physical losses in water, gas and oil networks. One of their primary objectives is enhancing the safety of their workers, which is among the synergies we share,” said Yaschuk. “Safety is a core value at Uniphos and we look forward to a long mutually-beneficial partnership with this southern neighbor that shares our values.”

To kick off this partnership, Yaschuk and Vamsi Krishna, International Business at Uniphos Envirotronic Pvt Ltd., are participating in Expo Seguridad Industrial in Mexico City from April 26 – 28.

Krishna commented that Uniphos is participating in conjunction with the SCR team, with the key objective of promoting the KwikDraw line of gas detection tubes.

“SCR is now our master distributor of KwikDraw gas detection tubes in Mexico,” said Krishna, adding that SCR came on board in 2015 after Uniphos acquired KwikDraw from MSA. “We felt the need to have a master distributor who can target the industrial base and focus efforts on developing and growing the business. We are pleased to be joining forces with SCR.”

The Expo Seguridad Industrial Mexico is the largest fair for industrial safety, occupational health and hygiene in Mexico, with numerous exhibitors presenting a wide range of health and safety products.
