Uniphos Envirotronic Inc. welcomed Ed Ligus to our North American team to serve as our new Global Product Manager. With 34 years of experience in the gas instrumentation and gas detection fields, Ligus brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. <\/p>\n
His experience includes 34 years with Draeger Safety, Inc. where he successfully executed product launches across North America and increased net sales in the product development portfolio by 30 per cent. Ligus excels at developing relationships and is looking forward to extending the Uniphos client network. <\/p>\n

Ligus is based out of Pennsylvania, but will be responsible for global marketing and product management. \u201cI think there\u2019s a really stellar opportunity here for the organization is to increase market share and further develop the brand,\u201d said Ligus \u201cWe\u2019re well positioned to better establish our detection tubes to provide value propositions to increase our market share.\u201d <\/p>\n
One of the reasons Ligus is so confident in Uniphos is the diversity in offerings. \u201cHaving two lines of tubes, Uniphos and KwikDraw, provides us with a competitive advantage,\u201d he said. \u201cThere is not another manufacturer that has the diversity that we do here at Uniphos.\u201d <\/p>\n
His professional accomplishments include working for the AIHA Real-Time Gas Detection Systems Committee, the ISEA Gas Detection Committee to publish the ISEA Statement on Validation of Operation For Direct Reading Portable Gas Monitors. He has also presented papers at the American Industrial Hygiene Association Conference. <\/p>\n
