
UNIPHOS Online UV-Visible COD/BOD/TSS Analyser
The UNIPHOS online UV-Visible COD/BOD/TSS analyser is an advanced multi-parameter water quality monitoring system for measurement of chemical oxygen demand (COD), biological oxygen demand (BOD) and total suspended solids (TSS).
The instrument measures the transmission spectrum of the water sample across 200-800 nm wavelength range. From this full spectrum, the absorbance of the interfering molecules like, nitrate, nitrite, colour, suspended solids, etc., are calculated at their respective wavelengths and used for correcting the COD value at 254 nm.
This gives accurate, real time, continuous and reagent-free analysis of COD, BOD and TSS in a water sample.
The analyser is suitable for monitoring a wide range of water samples, including:
